Worked as research assistant to Dr. Juliet Brosing. Assigned an
independent project to derive an isolated Neutron Energy Spectrum
of the Reed College Nuclear Reactor. To complete the project extensive
and precise lab and computer work was required. In addition, completion
of authorization examinations were required in order to use reactor
facilities and handle radioactive material. Presented written
progress reports to supervisors throughout the project. Upon completion
of assignment, produced final report in form of a thesis and presented
results to the Pacific University Physics Department and eventually
the student body of the Pacific University.
Facilitate
problem-solving sessions, assisting students with difficulties
in college mathematics and physics courses. Help students individually
and groups with lab work, tutorials and homework.
